1TSKCOMयहोवा योंकहता है, मैं बाबुल के और लेबकामै के रहनेवालोंके विरुद्व एक नाश करनेवाली वायु चलाऊंगा;
2TSKCOMAnd I will send foreigners to Babylon that they may winnow her And may devastate and empty her land; For in the day of destruction They will be against her on every side.
2TSKCOMForeign soldiers will come from every direction, and when the disaster is over, Babylonia will be empty and worthless.
2TSKCOMAnd will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.
2TSKCOMI will send to Babylon strangers, who will winnow her. They will empty her land; for in the day of trouble they will be against her all around.
2TSKCOMAnd I will send unto Babylon strangers, that shall winnow her; and they shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

3TSKCOM“Do not let him (the Chaldean defender) who bends his bow bend it, Nor let him rise up in his coat of armor. So do not spare her young men; Devote her entire army to destruction.
3TSKCOMI will tell these soldiers, “Attack quickly, before the Babylonians can string their bows or put on their armor. Kill their best soldiers and destroy their army!”
3TSKCOMAgainst him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.
3TSKCOMAgainst him who bends, let the archer bend his bow, also against him who lifts himself up in his coat of mail. Don’t spare her young men! Utterly destroy all her army!
3TSKCOMAgainst [him that] bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against [him that] lifteth himself up in his coat of mail: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

4TSKCOM“They shall fall down dead in the land of the Chaldeans, And wounded in her streets.”
4TSKCOMTheir troops will fall wounded in the streets of Babylon.
4TSKCOMThus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.
4TSKCOMThey will fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets.
4TSKCOMAnd they shall fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets.

5TSKCOM¶For neither Israel nor Judah has been abandoned By his God, the L ord of hosts, Though their land is full of sin and guilt Before the Holy One of Israel.
5TSKCOMEveryone in Israel and Judah is guilty. But I, the Lord All-Powerful, their holy God, have not abandoned them.
5TSKCOMFor Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
5TSKCOMFor Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, by his God, by Yahweh of Armies; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.
5TSKCOMFor Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, of his God, of Jehovah of hosts; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

6TSKCOMFlee out of Babylon, Let every one of you save his life! Do not be destroyed in her punishment, For this is the time of the L ord ’ s vengeance; He is going to pay her what she has earned. [Jer 50:28; 2 Cor 6:17; Rev 18:4]
6TSKCOMGet out of Babylon! Run for your lives! If you stay, you will be killed when I take revenge on the city and punish it for its sins.
6TSKCOMFlee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.
6TSKCOM“Flee out of the middle of Babylon! Everyone save his own life! Don’t be cut off in her iniquity; for it is the time of Yahweh’s vengeance. He will render to her a recompense.
6TSKCOMFlee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; be not cut off in her iniquity: for it is the time of Jehovah`s vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense.
6TSKCOMബാബേലിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഓടി ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; നിങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകരുതു; ഇതു യഹോവയുടെ പ്രതികാരകാലമല്ലോ; അതിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ അതിനോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും;

7TSKCOMBabylon has been a golden cup in the L ord ’ s hand, Intoxicating all the earth. The nations drank her wine; Therefore the nations have gone mad. [Rev 14:8; 17:4]
7TSKCOMBabylon was my golden cup, filled with the wine of my anger. The nations of the world got drunk on this wine and went insane.
7TSKCOMBabylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
7TSKCOMBabylon has been a golden cup in Yahweh’s hand, who made all the earth drunk. The nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations have gone mad.
7TSKCOMBabylon hath been a golden cup in Jehovah`s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

8TSKCOMBabylon has suddenly fallen and is shattered! Wail for her [if you care to]! Get balm for her [incurable] pain; Perhaps she may be healed. [Jer 25:15; Rev 14:8-10; 16:19; 18:2, 3]
8TSKCOMBut suddenly, Babylon will fall and be destroyed. I, the Lord , told the foreigners who lived there, “Weep for the city! Get medicine for its wounds; maybe they will heal.”
8TSKCOMBabylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so she may be healed.
8TSKCOMBabylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed! Wail for her! Take balm for her pain. Perhaps she may be healed.
8TSKCOMBabylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

9TSKCOMWe would have healed Babylon, but she was not to be healed. Abandon her and let each [captive] return to his own country, For her guilt and judgment have reached to heaven And are lifted up to the very skies. [Gen 18:20, 21]
9TSKCOMThe foreigners answered, “We have already tried to treat Babylon's wounds, but they would not heal. Come on, let's all go home to our own countries. Nothing is left in Babylonia; everything is destroyed.”
9TSKCOMWe would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
9TSKCOM“We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us each go into his own country; for her judgment reaches to heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
9TSKCOMWe would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

10TSKCOMThe L ord has brought about our vindication and has revealed the righteousness of our cause; Come and let us proclaim in Zion The work of the L ord our God!
10TSKCOMThe people of Israel said, “Tell everyone in Zion! The Lord has taken revenge for what Babylon did to us.”
10TSKCOMThe LORD hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.
10TSKCOM‘Yahweh has produced our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of Yahweh our God.’
10TSKCOMJehovah hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of Jehovah our God.

11TSKCOM¶Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields [and cover yourselves]! The L ord has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, Because His purpose concerning Babylon is to destroy it; For that is the vengeance of the L ord , vengeance [on Babylon] for [plundering and destroying] His temple.
11TSKCOMI, the Lord , want Babylon destroyed, because its army destroyed my temple. So, you kings of Media, sharpen your arrows and pick up your shields.
11TSKCOMMake bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
11TSKCOM“Make the arrows sharp! Hold the shields firmly! Yahweh has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of Yahweh, the vengeance of his temple.
11TSKCOMMake sharp the arrows; hold firm the shields: Jehovah hath stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes; because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it: for it is the vengeance of Jehovah, the vengeance of his temple.

12TSKCOMSet up a signal on the walls of Babylon [to spread the news]; Post a strong blockade, Station the guards, Prepare the men for ambush! For the L ord has both purposed and done That which He spoke against the people of Babylon.
12TSKCOMRaise the signal flag and attack the city walls. Post more guards. Have soldiers watch the city and set up ambushes. I have made plans to destroy Babylon, and nothing will stop me.
12TSKCOMSet up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.
12TSKCOMSet up a standard against the walls of Babylon! Make the watch strong! Set the watchmen, and prepare the ambushes; for Yahweh has both purposed and done that which he spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.
12TSKCOMSet up a standard against the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for Jehovah hath both purposed and done that which he spake concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

13TSKCOM[O Babylon] you who live by many waters, Rich in treasures, Your end has come, And the line measuring your life is cut. [Rev 17:1-6]
13TSKCOMPeople of Babylon, you live along the Euphrates River and are surrounded by canals. You are rich, but now the time has come for you to die.
13TSKCOMO thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.

14TSKCOMThe L ord of hosts has sworn [an oath] by Himself, saying, “Surely I will fill you with men, as with [a swarm of] locusts [who strip the land clean], And they will lift up a song and shout of victory over you.”
14TSKCOMI, the Lord All-Powerful, swear by my own life that enemy soldiers will fill your streets like a swarm of locusts. They will shout and celebrate their victory.
14TSKCOMThe LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillers; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.
14TSKCOMYahweh of Armies has sworn by himself, saying, ‘Surely I will fill you with men, as with the canker worm; and they will lift up a shout against you.’
14TSKCOMJehovah of hosts hath sworn by himself, [saying], Surely I will fill thee with men, as with the canker-worm; and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

15TSKCOM¶He made the earth by His power; He established the world by His wisdom And stretched out the heavens by His understanding.
15TSKCOMGod used his wisdom and power to create the earth and spread out the heavens.
15TSKCOMHe hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.
15TSKCOM“He has made the earth by his power. He has established the world by his wisdom. By his understanding he has stretched out the heavens.

17TSKCOMEvery man has become stupid and brutelike, without knowledge [of God]; Every goldsmith is shamed by the cast images he has made; For his molten idols are a lie, And there is no breath [of life] or spirit in them.
17TSKCOMPeople who make idols are stupid! They will be disappointed, because their false gods cannot breathe.

19TSKCOMBut the Lord , Israel's God, is all-powerful. He created everything, and he chose Israel to be his very own.
