13TSKCOMAnd the king of the children of Ammon answered unto the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again peaceably.

13TSKCOMअम्मोनियोंके राजा ने यिप्तह के दूतोंसे कहा, कारण यह है, कि जब इस्राएली मिस्र से आए, तब अर्नोन से यब्बोक और यरदन तक जो मेरा देश या उसको उन्होंने छीन लिया; इसलिथे अब उसको बिना फगड़ा किए फेर दे।

17TSKCOMतब इस्राएल ने एदोम के राजा के पास दूतोंसे यह कहला भेजा, कि मुझे अपके देश में होकर जाने दे; और एदोम के राजा ने उनकी न मानी। इसी रीति उस ने मोआब के राजा से भी कहला भेजा, और उस ने भी न माना। इसलिथे इस्राएल कादेश में रह गया।
