1TSKCOMNow it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.
1TSKCOMWhen David lived in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, “Behold, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of Yahweh’s covenant is in a tent.”

6TSKCOMजहां जहां मैं ने सब इस्राएलियोंके बीच आना जाना किया, क्या मैं ने इस्राएल के न्यायियोंमें से जिनको मैं ने अपक्की प्रजा की चरवाही करने को ठहराया या, किसी से ऐसी बात कभी कहीं, कि तुम लोगोंने मेरे लिथे देवदारु का घर क्योंनहीं बनवाया?
7TSKCOMNow therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:

8TSKCOMऔर जहां कहीं तू आया और गया, वहां मैं तेरे संग रहा, और तेरे सब शत्रुओं को तेरे साम्हने से नष्ट किया है। अब मैं तेरे नाम को पृय्वी के बड़े बड़े लोगोंके नामो के समान बड़ा कर दूंगा।

9TSKCOMऔर मैं अपक्की प्रजा इस्राएल के लिथे एक स्यान ठहराऊंगा, और उसको स्यिर करूंगा कि वह अपके ही स्यान में बसी रहे और कभी चलायमान न हो; और कुटिल लोग उनको नाश न करने पाएंगे, जैसे कि पहिले दिनोंमें करते थे;

11TSKCOMजब तेरी आयु पूरी हो जाथेगी और तुझे अपके पितरोंके संग जाना पकेगा, तब मैं तेरे बाद तेरे वंश को जो तेरे पुत्रोंमें से होगा, खड़ा करके उसके राज्य को स्यिर करूंगा।

16TSKCOMतब दाऊद राजा भीतर जाकर यहोवा के सम्मुख बैठा, और कहने लगा, हे यहोवा परमेश्वर ! मैं क्या हूँ? और मेरा घराना क्या है? कि तू ने मुझे यहां तक पहुंचाया है?
17TSKCOMAnd yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

17TSKCOMऔर हे परमेश्वर ! यह तेरी दृष्टि में छोटी सी बात हुई, क्योंकि तू ने अपके दास के घराने के विषय भविष्य के बहुत दिनोंतक की चर्चा की है, और हे यहोवा परमेश्वर ! तू ने मुझे ऊंचे पद का मतुष्य सा जाना है।
